Enforcement
The Department of Health (DOH) enforces the controlled substance laws and regulations of New York State. Narcotic Investigators and support staff are available in each Regional Office of the DOH Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement. The Regional Offices are located in Albany, Buffalo (Western Area), Rochester, Syracuse, Long Island, and New York City (Metropolitan Area).
