SEMAC Advisories
These guidelines are issued under the authority of Article 30 of the Public Health Law, Section 3002-a(2) and with the Commissioner of Health's approval. While these guidelines do not have the weight of law, the issuance of guidelines are statutorily authorized and approved by the department as appropriate guidance for prehospital patient care. They should be followed in the same manner as the statewide or regional patient care protocols.
