Process for Filling Vacancies
Vacancies resulting from a Council member's resignation shall be filled with candidates who meet the requirements of the membership as provided for in Public Health Law § 220.

Expenses and Reimbursement Information
Public Health Law § 223 The members of the Public Health and Health Planning Council other than the Commissioner of Health shall receive no compensation for their services, but shall be reimbursed for expenses actually and necessarily incurred in the performance of their duties. The NYSDOH reimburses members' travel expenses at standard government rates.
